Best bang for buck is of course Celcom SKMM. True unlimited at RM25 per month. But finding one should be pretty costly, so wont recommend you that.

Maxis Postpaid or Hotlink Prepaid got the best speed on lots of location. But it's super expensive, and it's not unlimited.

For prepaid, it's down to normal prepaid plans on UMobile and Digi (not those Celcom Instanet thingy or Digi Internet Edition). Each of them costs RM28-30, got their own pros and cons, but I'd recommend you UMobile if you live in cities or towns. The speed is of the same with Maxis (HSPA), only that it's far cheaper. And unlimited too (with bandwidth capping applies). But on capped speed, Digi is twice as fast.

For postpaid, I'd say it's better to go with Digi's iDigi 88 or DG Smart Plan 68 (not those iPad specific plans). Although the names gonna scare you, all of them only costs you around RM55+. Plus you can buy device with those plans and you can sell them so it will cover much of the incurred cost (that's why you'd see around people selling phone without a plan). Both of them are unlimited with capping beyond quota, but the capped speed is still tolerable even for YouTubing.
