My crysis2game works well already once into the game. Think the introduction video makes my graphics go nuts. I've changed the graphics settings to medium once I start playing the missions.

QUOTE(carolcwf @ May 6 2011, 04:54 PM) Buying through reseller in this forum is recommended also as thy do provide great service like using dependable courier, even to some ulu place in TErengganu. I got my lappie just a day after I bank into the reseller's account and it's through postage. Products received are in well conditions. Hehe. Quote from nevertheless, from a guy called darrel. |

QUOTE(imationyj @ May 9 2011, 08:08 PM) anyone have experience on register with the hp care pack? have some questions here: Ur answers:1. It is said that we need to register within 10 days after purchase, means after we register our laptop online within 10 days need register this hp care pack? 2. Is there a space where need to be filled by reseller on dealer information? If there is, how am I gonna fill it? 3. If i buy from the Tech Hypermart, approximately how long would it takes to ship to my home? 4. What should be done after faxed the form to HP office? 5. How to check whether I'm registered with the HP Care Pack? Thx in advance 1. Yes you have to register in 10 days on your receipt dated when you buy 2. Yes, but you can fill it yourself. No company chop is needed. Just get the particulars of the sales person and his/her company 3. I dono this answer, as I dint buy from them before. sorry 4. You can fax to them, or you can call them in the toll free no in hp malaysia website. I would suggest you to call and speak to the operator. The operator will then tell you to email them your hp care plan form and also your receipt, as it will hasten the process. Within 48hrs, your extended warranty will be completed. 5. You can check through hp website for the registration after 48 hours of emailing to confirm everything. |

QUOTE(reevephon @ May 4 2011, 09:46 PM) FYI, I have figured out on how to set the default mode for the HP CoolSense even though after shut down it still remains in the same mode, just run the HP CoolSense in Admin mode and apply the mode you wish to. FYI I can't have the coolsense settings changed even run under Admin. I've tried afew times. Any other alternative? |

QUOTE(aionee @ May 16 2011, 10:45 PM) Hi to all the users here. Pls. Add me to the list. I just got my dv6, 3 days ago. Mine is the same like Urs bro.One thing I wanted to confirm with everyone here. Using CPU-Z v1.57, my south bridge rev. = B2 Chipset rev. = 09 main board model = 1657. 10.22 Bios. = F.06 (03/10/2011) May I ask what info is showing on all your Dv6s. Am I the unlucky one who get the old affected chipset? Anyone here can help on this? I am really confuse. I read somewhere that new DV6 users are still having the B2 rev. chipset even though it is suppose to be the new B3 rev. How do I check? Pls. Help. TQ |

QUOTE(aionee @ May 17 2011, 01:19 PM) Thanks Suerveymonkey. I ve check the serial and my unit's serial is higher than 108 so I guess my unit is ok then. With all respect bro, your Qs has been answered in the previous posts in this topic. Do search for it under some key words. Thanks Acid_RuleZz. I think I have to trust that brave fella who ripped his unit apart to find out the truth. :-) Thanks to everyone who chip in to help out. Another question. Do you guys tried to split the C: partition to 2? If yes how do you do it? I wanted create another partition for data. Since the HDD already have 4 primary partitions I may have to Convert the HP Tools partition to a logical partition. Then split up the C: into 2 (using a partition manager utility boot cd)and and either format the new partition as either primary or logical partition. I notice there is a shrink partition function under Win7. Anyone tried that? Will it work with the active system partition (C:) without Causing the loss of data? Would like to hear your thoughts and experience on this. Thanks in advance. |
