anyone have experience on register with the hp care pack? have some questions here:

1. It is said that we need to register within 10 days after purchase, means after we register our laptop online within 10 days need register this hp care pack?

2. Is there a space where need to be filled by reseller on dealer information? If there is, how am I gonna fill it?

3. If i buy from the Tech Hypermart, approximately how long would it takes to ship to my home?

4. What should be done after faxed the form to HP office?

5. How to check whether I'm registered with the HP Care Pack?

FYI, I have figured out on how to set the default mode for the HP CoolSense even though after shut down it still remains in the same mode, just run the HP CoolSense in Admin mode and apply the mode you wish to.

Nice for me. Not actually an MMO but it has multiplayer support for up to 4 peoples.

Hi to all the users here. Pls. Add me to the list. I just got my dv6, 3 days ago.
One thing I wanted to confirm with everyone here. Using CPU-Z v1.57, my

south bridge rev.  = B2
Chipset rev.          = 09
main board model  = 1657.    10.22
Bios.                    = F.06 (03/10/2011)

May I ask what info is showing on all your Dv6s.

Am I the unlucky one who get the old affected chipset?

Anyone here can help on this? I am really confuse. I read somewhere that new DV6 users are still having the B2 rev. chipset even though it is suppose to be the new B3 rev. How do I check?

Another question. Do you guys tried to split the C: partition to 2? If yes how do you do it?
I wanted create another partition for data. Since the HDD already have 4 primary partitions I may have to
Convert the HP Tools partition to a logical partition. Then split up the C: into 2 (using a partition manager
utility boot cd)and and either format the new partition as either primary or logical partition.  I notice there
is a shrink partition function under Win7. Anyone tried that? Will it work with the active system partition (C:)
without Causing the loss of data?

Would like to hear your thoughts and experience on this. Thanks in advance.
