i just came back from pc fair (pisa, penang)..
got seller sell dv6. price RM3599(include beats).
i just test the beats speaker from this laptop.. it F-ing awesome..
i really love this dv6 spec.. but 15.6" and kindda biq for me.. huhu..

you turn on the Vsync also or it is off?

Acid since you have installed the game i need your help seriously. you get pirated as well rite?

what is your CCC setting playing this game?

maybe i'm the only one in this thread regret buying this laptop

Added on May 6, 2011, 9:49 pmi think of this problem before. but at last i choosed the 15.6" becos since you are deciding to buy such a high spec with good graphics, of course you need it for gaming purpose, then why not bigger screen? for me 14" is damn small for gaming. if you say normal assignments i ok.

if you are on abit tight budget and must need a 14 inch got for DV6

as for me. Im owner of DV4 but if not for study purpose. I would go for DV6.

ahh alright cool.. so its right..

only DV6 and DV7 are coming out with B3..

damn HP.. dv4 stays in B2 chipset.. just because it wont be affected and they just released with B2

but
i can still consider HP DV4 because it have good graphic card better than nvidia 540m i think..

because i ask thier brochure for laptop price. they said it new laptop(for DV-6). they still dont fill in brochure yet..
perhaps you can find at 1stfloor shop, not at the groundfloor. the price is rm3599.00+beats..
i also ask them if want buy without beat headphone.. they cant sell without it.


im not worry about the budget..
i consider the size because i will continue futher stdy..
so always need to carry the laptop i think..

get a backpack for your DV6. this is what i did. everything settle. even all the uni notes i put inside the bag together 1 shot !

why not u go test out the laptop.. if u can handle 15.6 inch.. just take it la.. try carrying it..

a bagpack will do the job but you tend to carry extra weight.. strain makes u tired.. if tired cant concentrate luu

if you ask me for a guy, you cant carry a backpack with 15.6" laptop which have onnly around 2-3kg, i got nothing to say

Other settings = high

CCC settings
AA = Use Application Settings
Morphological filtering = Off
Filter = Standard

Anisotropic = Use Application Settings

Tesselation = Untick both and set slider to off

Catalyst A.I = Quality

Wait for vertical refresh = Off, unless application specifies

AA Mode = Multi-sample AA

OpenGL Triple Buffering = Tick

Got DV7 tho.. i7-620m, 4gb ddr3, radeon 5670, old model. imported i guess.

Hi Getz, where did you get yours?

count in the distance you walk everyday.. you basically add up the amount of energy to be used to carry extra 500G.. its not about if I can carry that amount of weight but its total energy I will save with a lighter laptop at the end of the day
