distance scale? the meter on the lens? hmm.gif
how about the min focus distance? shorter than 35mm 1.8g? hmm.gif

Actually 1.8g is better than f2 in my opinion (performance)

But i wan distance scale and able to use on FF next time. Distance scale useful for manual focus one.

Not planning to get 35mm 1.4 and wont get
-Weight
-No need N lens for street photography.

I find distance scale is important for me laugh.gif

But the range i want is 24mm , 35mm f2(f2 enough for me), 50mm. I got 2 range already now going to grab 24mm

^ yea

Use faster shutter speed and stop down lo . I can see u are on a bright situation.

Most important thing in human portrait is eyes. When got eyes contact then eyes must sharp , otherwise cannot emphasize the subject.

I wouldn't recommend it though. Btw, it's around RM1.2k for 2nd hand or RM1.6k for a new local set

Me too.

If you are canon user , u choose sigma 30mm okay lar acceptable.

Nikon user i recommend 35/f1.8, 35/f2 , 35/f1.4(based on my experience in using the lens, not because digital rev) ...unless u want 30mm range.

Oh ya, here the video

Using D3 don't guarantee the user to be pro  icon_idea.gif

Let me explain colour gels.

When you shoot flash, it is white light bursting out right? So let's say, you have a place where the ambient light and some places is tungsten. Tungsten light is brown btw, so if you are shooting without flash, you can easily overcome the tungsten browness using white balance, tungsten.

However what happen if you are using flash?

flash firing range isn't that big btw, so some part of the tungsten won't be wiped out by the flash so it will till remain present in the photo. Therefore,

White + brown = ????

White balance set to tungsten = ????

yeap. This is where the colour gel usefulness comes in.

Let me take the brown colour gel as example.

You apply the colour gel, and then the flash will become brown, so brown + brown = Brown, white balance set to tungsten = ???? = PROFIT!

The whole photo will be brown so the white balance will adjust it to be white.

There. Hope you learn something.

People often thinks that colour gel don't do anything, but actually, it helps a lot.
