QUOTE(General_Nic @ May 10 2011, 09:55 PM) i meant very slow compare to 70200 for me, its definitely faster than 18-105.tried on my D5000 n my fren's D300 not to say very slow like hunting in low light, but AF speed isnt considerably faster than 18105 or 55-200, but definitely faster than 1855 especially when tracking subjects. perhaps when shooting stills, u wont notice the difference that much. |

QUOTE(Kent3888 @ May 11 2011, 02:24 PM) Where u tried to ask? Penang service centre? The PKNS service centre is very strict, they asked for receipt, if not they will check thru system for the shipment record date of the item. The used lens I bought previously, the seller said unfilled, 1 year old, but frm system it shows it was shipped 3 years+ ago!! i would guess all depends how 'unfilled' the card is, and what kind of lens.if the card doesnt have a dealer stamp, then u have to get one before filling in the date. also obviously if u bring in a long discontinued lens and said u got it a few months ago...they're not going to believe u unless u show a receipt. |

QUOTE(aldosoesilo @ May 12 2011, 11:48 AM) If I were you I will stick with kit lens and awaits for new AF-S Nikkor 50G 1.8 then give it a try waiting for nikon to announce 85mm 1.8 AF-S since you might don't know what do you want to shoot. nikonrumors also posted info on a new nikon patent. 55-300 f/2.8-4...thats going to be one interesting lens. |

QUOTE(aldosoesilo @ May 15 2011, 12:49 PM) Actually I am trying to get retro feeling (kind of old school pic if you want to call it). and I couldn't get a feeling of retro if the picture is crystal clear and tack sharp. which goes to show sharpness isnt everything if the feel is not there Yes bro.. I'll definitely do it again. currently still in the process of post editing |

QUOTE(BenSow @ May 15 2011, 04:38 PM) does android tablet support RAW editing? i know 1 media sports guy who currently has these.BTW anyone knows waht kind of equipment football match photographers used? I just finished looking at some photos and was very impressed by the sharpness... d3s, d3, d7000. 70-200, 400/2.8, 600/4...apart from the usual 12-24, 24-70 and tc1.4. actually most of them will have these anyway...some may add on a 200-400/4 and 300/2.8. if u can get a spot say 3/4 down the sideline, 70-200 may just do. |

QUOTE(aldosoesilo @ May 16 2011, 01:29 PM) still struggling over this one. anyone could give me some suggestion? imo, its too much yellow.got the feeling? Added on May 16, 2011, 1:30 pmsharing D90 is officially discontinued. http://nikonrumors.com/2011/05/15/nikon-d9...scontinued.aspx try to make it look more washed out something like this. then maybe u can add abit of noise to it and maybe vignette it abit. |
