First of all,thanking to all senior member @LYN,iPad forum visitor that makes forum a very useful for all especially newbies who wish to know more on their iPad.
Since the launching of iPad 2 in Malaysia,i decide to make a get-to-gather between iPad 1 and iPad owner.Deciding to call upon iPhone 4 user as well.
In this very special meet up,(where place and time soon will be decided),majorly we gonna discuss and share our knowledge of this known iPad etc technical problem what uses of this iPad and so on(jailbreak anyone ?)
Activity on that day will be done under advise of DavidGary and other forum senior member. [still discussing]

So for those whom interested to give a demo on iPad 2 are most welcome.Others whom wish to demonstrate or any suggestion please pm me.I will add on this thread.

Well, I ever seen once, an apple product owners gather in KLCC where most of them are like executive man bring their ipad, iphone etc..

Thinking to invite sister ~winter~ tech gaga or alvinool to sell iPad stuff for those who interested to buy on the spot..[Not confirmed]

This for iPad 1 and iPad 2 users event.So all relating iPad only will be discuss.

The place im looking like luxury and comfortable place.
Something like starbucks old town ...

But guys i alone cant make this happen.

a week after ipad 2 launch date sounds ok, from there everyone should have bought their cases for ipad2, can compare

Good call on making a meet up. It has been a long time we have not had a gathering. My suggestions would Tropicana City Mall Starbucks or Uptown Starbucks.

We had a previous gathering where we had atleast 50 forumers who came and man, that was a great meet up and was biggest gathering so far.

Regarding whose gadget is better, i have attended many gathering with our seniors like stringfellow, beavis, yuvanesh, =Hanxz=, nokia2003, frostbyte, tinkerbel, blacktrix etc and there's never an arguement on whose iPad, iPhone and iPod is better. We are not kids anymore hence we will never come to that stage of mind.

And do invite iPad. iPhone accesory sellers to come as well to promote/sell thier product etc and perhap give our freebies..

Collect the names of those who are attending this meetup. Write them in small bits of paper and since you're the host, u get to pick the name on that day.

If you can, shoot out an invite to the seniors as they did back then via PM.

Interesting... I will attend too if the time is right

Can call it an apple byte gathering instead of just iPads only.
All you need for your iPads, iPhones, ipods and even MacBooks should be there as well.
Let's make this gathering a big one.

I vote for Tropicana City Starbucks. The last meet at Uptown was a wee bit crammed.
As DG noted, 50+ people came prevoiusly, and i hope more can make it this time around. At least Tropicana is more accessible from the LRT.
Plus, we can help our new iPad 2 buddies when they get theirs (presumably Friday.)

As for other readers, please input your suggestions on where to hold the meetup.

Good call, although space would be a more pressing issue. The only place that I know of with Unifi is PappaRich. Just throwing it out there.
