Just now, first time experienced Battery power drain i.e. Suddenly my M15x could not obtain power from battery, only from power supply. What I did to rectify the problem was:
1. Switch off the laptop
2. Pull out the battery
3. Pull out the power supply
4. With everything off. Just hold the power button (alienhead) for 10 sec.
5. Put back the battery
6. Connect the power supply
7. On the laptop
8. Voila! Problem solved

Trust me, you will encounter this at least one time IF you always used your power supply (99%) as a main source to supply power to your laptop.

Hope this helps.

You know what I did when my disc got stuck inside the tray? It might seems crazy but it work...I just touch the eject button and at the same time try to PALM-HIT the part where the tray is located using my hand. Not too hard but just enough so that hopefully the disc will come out. And it has...try it...

Glad that it works out for you...Your lense is unable to read probably because it has been stuck there for a long time...messed up the alignment inside somehow...next time you need to do the palm-hit trick right after it got stuck...so less chance that it got misaligned...
