Just got my Alienware M17x-R3 First game on my list is The Witcher

Almost a month of waiting No, I didn't get 3D cuz it would be too expensive, haha.



I ordered on the 31st March and just received it last Monday even though ETA was 26th. I think if they delivered on weekends I would have gotten it earlier since the order status said it arrived in the main hub last week.

Yeah, I just bought the Enhanced Edition on Steam. I hope I can finish it before The Witcher 2 comes out. I need my WRPG fix fast since DA2 was such a disappointment for me

Hey guys, just encountered a problem while trying to play The Witcher through Steam. It says "Warning, Does not meet min system requirements" then the game crashes before it even starts.

So its definitely something to do with the Optimus tech so I've already set a profile for witcher.exe to use the nvidia GPU but it still gives me the error and crashes. The only way I can play the game is to input do -dontForceMinReqs in the launch options in Steam. But when I do this the texture quality is stuck at low and when I try increasing it it just gives me crazy numbers like -99999.99 or 100000.00.

Any help would be appreciated.

PS: I've tried ME2 and it works fine when I assign a profile on the Nvidia Control Panel.

I just updated to 267.64 through the Dell Support website. Where do I get the the 270.61 driver?

EDIT: Do I have to update the driver for the integrated GC as well because I haven't done that yet.

I can't seem to install the the 270.61 driver. It says that my GC isn't compatible.

When I looked further on the Geforce website it told me to get my drivers from Compal
