hi all, i just got my m17x r2 last few month and i notice that there is a very high frequency sound like those electric sound(yi~~~)kind of sound coming from the laptop whenever the power adapter is turn on even when the laptop is off.

Anyone else face this before?

Ya the sound is the same with those coming from crt tv. The sound are coming from the left speaker hole. Dell have change the motherboard before but the sound come back after few days. Then they take my m17x back for 3weeks and change almost everythings(almost everythings was told by the phone support girl) but still unable to solve.

But because my m17x is refurbish item so they said can't refund or exchange the unit. So they try to conclude as my expectation is too high for the unit. Now they will send the last service to change the mobo, speaker, power adapter and power cord.

None of you all face this problem?
