Guys, now when I boot up my M17x, not all lights will light up, instead all of them will light up when the laptop has completely entered Windows.

It's kinda weird because before this I doesn't experience this kind of problem.
Will re installing Command Center solve this?

Finally got the secondary HD5870M installed into my system.
This is the Vantage result, quite ok I think.



But the card that I got from ebay is freaking hot, it reach 99C during Vantage benchmark.
Do you guys think by applying thermal paste will solve this problem?
I'm thinking of getting IC Diamond 7 for the GPU, is it good?

haha, I will, but maybe just i7 920XM since it also has unlock multipliers, and it is 68pound less than i7 940XM here in the UK.

Guys, just repasted the thermal paste on my both GPUs, before this, they are running at 95C-100C for GPU 1 (this is the card I got from ebay which has very lousy thermal paste) and 76C-80C for GPU 2.

Now after repasting, see below

I use IC Diamond 7, can't find IC Diamond 24 (which is better) on ebay UK.
But I think it is very impressive right?

The concept of 3D is to render twice the same graphics, so that when you use the 3D spectacles, it appears to be 3 dimensional (basically it is an optical illusion), so to get ROUGH estimation, divide your 2D FPS by 2, that's what you get in 3D mode.

We don't know that for sure, but I think R2 will be launch together or after the launch of ivy bridge, no point of launching new revision without new hardware.

Since my laptop can only support up to SATA 2, so I think among those 3, samsung 470 is the best right?
Because even though M4 and C300 has high maximum read speed, that is only achievable using SATA 3 isn't it Lee?

Hmm kinda confuse now, because currently my kingston write speed, especially 512k, has reduced a lot, and that is only few weeks of usage.
I wonder if TRIM is working as it should on my ssd.
