Dammit~ vmad.gif
I guess my optical drive is also broken, couldn't read any CDs, that's why I keep trying with different CDs till it couldn't even eject now! mad.gif

Open it up and try to manually remove the disc?  laugh.gif

Gonna leave that to the tech when I'm back in M'sia, haiz, slot-loads are really a pain in the ass when the CDs get stuck in there! shakehead.gif

You know what I did when my disc got stuck inside the tray? It might seems crazy but it work...I just touch the eject button and at the same time try to PALM-HIT the part where the tray is located using my hand. Not too hard but just enough so that hopefully the disc will come out. And it has...try it...

OMG THAT IS JUST CRAZY!!! rclxm9.gif
IT DID THE TRICK!!! rclxms.gif
Thanks man!!! biggrin.gif
*Still having problems with reading CDs/DVDs, better get some repairs from Dell when I'm back in M'sia

OMG, it works? Gratz dude... biggrin.gif nice technique indeed..
*
Yup it worked! Was shocked as well, I guess the CD was just kinda like "trapped" so you need to give it a bit of force while the tray is ejecting it! rclxms.gif
But still I won't read CDs/DVDs, that I have to call Dell up! Was working the last time I checked! hmm.gif

So you mean u needed to hit the CD back in the DVD reader? or below the DVD reader while pushing the eject button?
*
No! While pressing the eject button on the media panel, you give a slight bump or pat on the right side of the palm/wrist resting area, which is right above the slot load tray, not too hard, just a slight nudge to it. rclxms.gif

Guys, i need your advice.. icon_question.gif
Today after playing GRID and Crysis 2, my gtx 260m reach its peak temp 102'c..
Once i reached this max temp, i felt sudden lag on my screen, around 1-2 seconds..i think it throttle down to prevent from being toasty..
i just bought m15x, July last year..

Any1 alienware owner can provide me a cleaning and reapply thermal paste service??  icon_question.gif

I thought mine was already high enough! sweat.gif
Most likely your vents are blocked with dust, I used cotton buds and reach through the fans and kinda swab the dust off the vents covering it! It was really lots of dust back then! shakehead.gif
After that the temps drop at least 10°C! thumbup.gif I can feel more hot air gushing out through the vents whenever I game! rclxms.gif

today when i use my M15x in college... feel like left side fan stopped spinning[i think its proc fan].. it was like damn hot... 60++ in idle mode...
*
Mine goes into maximum spin when the temps hit >60°C blink.gif
Sometimes I do hope that the fans would spin at a higher rate even below 60°C, don't want it to hit that high in temperature! yawn.gif
