Can you please point out where is the expensive part?

Yeah warranty, RAM and HDD are very expensive in US. We suggest using your own HDD and RAM instead of upgrade it. For warranty, it is possible to purchase from us and then extend your own from Dell Malaysia. Our M14x and M11x are priced at the same as Dell Malaysia. Do understand that our M14x base specs are higher than Malaysia base spec.

However, our M17x 3D and non 3d prices are lower than Dell Malaysia, especially the 3D one.

We are pricing based on Dell Malaysia, please throw in some pools.

We appreciate your feedback. smile.gif

M18x can claim warranty in malaysia ya. As long as the unit is new with premium warranty.

I jus called dell n claim for lcd due to display issue.

by customizing and comparing with dell.ca as you mention, the price difference is around 500+( not including shipping)

with US it is also the same 500+ difference

the only thing different is the warranty which is the advance service 2 years and yet north american sites are cheaper. most of the time the agents are able to give free shipping and goodies with no extra cost. there is also a student plan in it.

overall, it is good that you are bringing m18x to malaysia. i feel lonely to be the only one with it.

Finally got the secondary HD5870M installed into my system.
This is the Vantage result, quite ok I think. blush.gif

But the card that I got from ebay is freaking hot, it reach 99C during Vantage benchmark.
Do you guys think by applying thermal paste will solve this problem?
I'm thinking of getting IC Diamond 7 for the GPU, is it good?
*

Btw kelvin, what is the best SATA 2 ssd now, my Kingston V+100 is not that fast, want to sell this
on ebay and get new one. laugh.gif
*
u feel nth if jus few **.mb speed different. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(hidz7 @ Oct 28 2011, 04:26 AM)
Since my laptop can only support up to SATA 2, so I think among those 3, samsung 470 is the best right?
Because even though M4 and C300 has high maximum read speed, that is only achievable using SATA 3 isn't it Lee?
*
samsung use their own chipset which write speed always faster den other, read speed same or jus fast abit nia.
intel return rate was thumbup.gif but intel does fails me twice shakehead.gif both my intel ssd 1st gen 160gb always give me bluescreen and system hang.

my another latitude e4200 was using samsung PM800 almost closed to 4 years still in good condition.

oh ya, sand force is fast but when ur ssd goin to full den u wil know the speed is drop smile.gif

I did that before, and it said that TRIM is enabled.
AHCI, I have tried that before as well, there is a bit of improvement, well there is not many people who use Kingston V+100, so hard to ask people about this ssd. sad.gif
