hey guys, i think i/ve been having some issues with my M17x these days, the fan runs abnormally, and during idle, the fan still runs pretty loud although i'm not running any programs at all...

is there any program to "clean" out unwanted programs or something like that, even these days, while gaming, i get random lags at some point, which i never had them during my 1st month of getting the M17....

Hai guys. I really need honest and sincere also logic input from all fine people here. This is quite serious matter.

Original adapter from Dell
- Input 100-240V ~ 1.5A (50-60 Hz)
- Output 19.5V --- ___ 4.62 A

AcBel adapter (90w) Universal Adapter
- Input 100-240V ~ 1.4A (50-60 Hz)
- Output 19V --- ___ 4.74A

Now, since I lost my original adapter at Starbuck last 2 days (Accidentally left the AC on the table doh.gif ), I managed to borrow from lowyat people Temporary.
Now, I contacted Dell and they told me no stock available until 8 to 12 weeks (Might not available at all cry.gif ). Since I going to outstation soon for work purposes, can I use the Acbel? The way I see it, the input and output is almost the same. But, I don't dare to take the risk cause worried on motherboard effect.

Since my brother kind enough to lend me his AcBel for 8 weeks to 10 weeks, can I use the acbel ac? Is it safe or any other alternative?

Thanks in advance you guys notworthy.gif

Alienware adds jitter-killing Killer Wireless-N technology to M18x, M17x, M14x and M11x

user posted image

And this, friends, is how you make the leap into the mainstream. Bigfoot Networks has been toiling away in an effort to get its gaming-optimized networking guts into just about everything -- there's also a VisionTek GPU with Killer innards, and a trifecta of mainboard makers announced that they too would be joining the bustling integration party earlier in the year. Now, however, the outfit's really got something to hang its hat on: a handshake with Dell's Alienware unit. The Killer Wireless-N 1103 networking adapter will now be listed as an option for the Alienware M18x, M17x, M14x and M11x, promising data rates as high as 450Mbps as well as its Advanced Stream Detect to intelligently classify and prioritize network traffic. Mum's the word on how much the upgrade will be, but based on prior reviews, we'd say the premium will be well worth it for the hardcore among us.
