lol no la bro. Haven't gotten the honor of being on radio.  New lappy packs a real titan beast inside with the 6970m. But doesn't have the alien touch which I kinda miss . No light shows here. Earphones I'll b using siberia 5hv2 mouse I using razer abyssus only. Gonna get some carbon sticker to sticj on my lappy soon. lol
*
Aiyo, I thought it was you since thay guy did say that his dad handles the purchase of the laptop haha laugh.gif
Wow, 6970! wub.gif Sager has always been more conserved in terms of styling, won't attract too much attention, which is a good thing rclxms.gif
Eh we use the same mouse hahaha thumbup.gif

Lol it was the cheapest mouse la. My krait died so had to replace wif something. My case. I purchased my dad just handled the laptop. Lol. Then again.what a coincidence lol. Gotta look for a sleeve for my lappy. Can't really fit nicely into those 15.4 inch.
*
I used to have a Case Logic 16" notebook sleeve for my 15.6" Qosmio F60~
It can accommodate the laptop with some room to spare so that you won't accidentally "zip" the corners of your laptop nod.gif
I got one for RM60, but recently when I visited All IT Hypermart, it seems like the old one (the one I bought) is no longer available; now they're selling for ~RM100 for a better quality one, with a pouch at the front nod.gif

Morning sifu~
I see I see, thermal pastes will eventually wear out 1 right? hmm.gif I have some old laptops which needs to re-apply thermal paste as well...
Plus I'm kind of interested to learn how to apply hehe~
Any brands to recommend bro? Or are they all the same? (laptops will be used in air-con rooms)... I've only seen thermal paste from Cooler Master sad.gif

Help, wanna ask the oldtimers here. I wanna get M11x on i7. Is it advisable ?
*
As mentioned in your thread:
recommended customization:

i7 (recommended since its only a week ULV processor) + 4-6GB RAM (depending on how much budget you have) + SSD (faster speed, cooler, quieter) + 1GB Nvidia GT540m + full warranty support~

The rest of the money spend on something else. Seriously spending Rm3k on 16GB RAM is a waste of money haha laugh.gif

Update: No point getting the M11x if you're into graphic designing and not gaming... MBP or others would be a better choice

Thanks Boss for the lovely heads up  smile.gif . I see with my own eyes and tested it on i3 version. Weight is okok. Screen is cute  laugh.gif . Overall I LOVE IT  cry.gif . Ok, just to make thing clear in my head  laugh.gif , the processor the m11x and my bamboo using is different right? Where by, the bamboo processor is better right?

Just to messy my head hehehe
*
ULV processors (SB ULV i5, i7) can never compete with standard processors (yours is i5-460m) in terms of performance laugh.gif

have you all had problem with dell delivery ? im kinda worry to order from the website  sad.gif
*
Ordered already?
Depending on which laptop you're looking for, ordering from viper88, putochip123, devour and other Garage Sales members would be cheaper. Some of them offer CODs, whereas some stick to Dell's delivery nod.gif
Don't worry, the delivery may sometimes be late, but they'll surely come

Yup Alien really rocks my world after 4 days cannot sleep. Now I will become Zombie till next week unless Viper88 can help me to create miracle (Getting my notebook this week)

It'll only take 5-6 days brows.gif

Just to check with members here. Is there any one purchased M11x R3 i7 with 8gb ram?

How's the performance so far?

Upgrade to 16gb is insane expensive with RM3k++ additional  sweat.gif also the ssd RM1.5k additional  sweat.gif
Maybe R4 or R5 release then i install those hehe  laugh.gif
*
Again, 16GB is not worth it, performance gain is not significant. Investing on SSD is another story though, the speed boost is worth the price nod.gif
Summore with the small form factor of the M11x, it will be good to get the SSD so that temperatures can be controlled (personal experience with M14x)

after 1year and 3 months.. my M11x R1 hinge gone kaput! CACAT already! but still intact. I would not bring this notebook outside since its looking soo BAD already.

BTW, anyone knows how much to extend warranty ?

since the Hinge replacement program does not  work here in this country, I would like to claim it from the warranty instead.
*
Which country are you currently in? hmm.gif

do you have source for the program that mention it works here.. I would like to see it please.  notworthy.gif

because last time I spoke with the customer service guy, he mentioned that theres no announcement about it in their forum. thats why they urge me to extend the warranty instead.  rclxub.gif

EDIT : also fund this http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienware-...e-design-8.html
but the dude still got warranty ? mine already expired  sad.gif
