i got a question but here's my current setup:

HU: alpine CDE-9873E
AMP: alpine v12 MRV-F345 4-channel
front speakers: coral DLK-165 components 6.5" mounted on door
rear speakers: stock
subwoofer: 10" infinity...dunno wut model haha
oh yeah, and car: myvi tongue.gif

so anyway, im thinking of getting rid of the subwoofer cuz it's taking too much space. so then i'll need something to cover the lower freq range right. is there any recommended speaker for the rear to handle bass? lets say budget rm1k

im aware that any component can never replace a subwoofer. i just wanna know what's my best option to cover the lower freq range under 1k w/o a subwoofer taking space in my small small boot ;p

oops sorry to leave this out... i mostly listen to metal

at front already got 6.5" the door..no place to put another midbass ;p

im thinking of replacing the rear speaker at the door. IINM it's a 6" (cannot rmmbr, quite long didnt play ICE dy). is it possible to juz get a coaxial 6", n tune it only for low freq from my amp? if get another component, wont be using the tweeter since, as i said, only for low freq. i think if got another tweeter it'll just kacau the front one hehe

the 8" no need to install at the door, can install else where at the cost of ur SQ. coaxials wun give u better bass than comp set. so the onli solution is a 8" or 6x9" playing the lows onli. another option since u said ur sub is taking too much space, try getting a free air sub, just need to hook on ur backseat or board and the bass is all there. no need box/enclosure for it.

ooo alright. any recommendations for a good-for-lows 6x9"?

how about u share here ur complete setup?

sometimes people tend to install stuff they dont need... this is bad because it makes the connection more messy, so they get more problems than they should

also send to a reputable shop, got certification etc. some shops tend to say this one spoil, that one spoil, n ask u to buy random stuff u dont need.

which alpine v12 amp is that?

if ur total system less than 2000W maybe u shud try running without a cap 1st. yes, run everything from the battery. for SQ setups should run fine, SPL im not sure

for flickering lights problem, check the grounding...

if still need cap, try connect it ur lanzer amp only 1st

hey i wanna ask is it good to have headunit hi-lo converter to amp? Or plug in direct to headunit is better?
*
playing audio stuff, try to keep it as simple as possible. direct is better, less equipment so smaller chance something will interfere with the signal
