my HU is pioneer 50wx4... currently powered 1 pair 6x9, 1 pair 4"mid & 1 pair tweeter... thinking to change the front to 6" component... can my HU power up the component(200W) & the rear 6x9 (450WRMS)???

those hundred and hundreds of W is the max..

ur HU can onli produce 20rms+-..

so can my HU power up the component(200w) & 6x9 (450rms)??

Currenty my car was have 6 inch component set (240 watt) and 6x9 loudspeaker at behind (900 watt) and i trying to add in a single woofer.. What amp should i get to support my gadget? 1 unit of 4 channel amp or need to buy 2 amp?

my current rear speaker producing piak piak sound whenever i crank the volume too high.. so i lookin for a replacement speaker now .. should i go for component set or 2 way (rear) ?

edit- my other doubt .. will it harm the HU if i wunna power 2 set of comp speakers ? Or should i consider to get a 4 ch amp to power those comp set and another 2ch amp to feed a 10" dvc wofer ?

r the passenger seats (behind) always occupied? if it is not, better forget it and save the $$ for a better amp..

u can haf a look @ the pinned topics that is written standard setup 2 match up ur stuff.. if u r planning 2 run active, the ur consideration is g00d but if u r not then juz get a 4 channel amp 2 power both the woofer and comp..

I need some of the advise here..

My car I.C.E setup;
- 6.5'inch component set
- 6x9 loudspeaker
- 2 channels 800 watts amplifier
- 10'inch sub woofer..

Now my car using all the thing that i mention.. And when i blast my sound system, I heard the blast sound from the 6x9 loudspeaker.. So i thinking to remove the 6x9 loudspeaker so it won't give the blast sound.. Maybe the 6x9 loudspeaker cannot support amp. And, it become very noisy since have so many speaker around.. So if i take out the 6x9 speaker, will the sound will become more nice? My sub woofer give the bass very solid enough.. So izit nessary to put 6x9?

throw away the 6x9 if ur using subwoofer.... they spoil the sound coming from the subwoofer and makes everything else sound like shit. 6x9 should only be used if a sub is not present.

u can either remove the rear speakers completely or replace it with a set of 6.5" 2-way coaxials or 2-way components.

i would also adivse u to get another 2channel amp. to make 1 amp power the woofer and 1 amp power the front speakers....

if u decide to use rear speakers can just connect directly to the pleayer. the other speakers like i mentioned above with the amp.

If i get 1 amp for my component set can? I went tru some accessories at sri rampai, some shop selling mid bass amplifier.. Those mid bass amplifier look so small and heavy.. Does the amp got use? Or get a new 2ch amplifier? I already throw the 6x9 away and now the sound quite ok compare with last time.. I wanna put in Nickel 10' sub woofer inside.. mean i wan use 2 sub woofer. Nickel woofer got any pron and con?

never heard of nickle before.... but i would advice on using 2 same woofers if u wanna run 2 woofers.

as for the amp....yes...thats what i said above...better get another 2 channel just for the front components.

and ive never heard of any mid bass amplifier before. so to be safe i suggest getting a 2 channel.

If i not wrong, Nickel is a product from U.S.A. The nickel woofer quite nice also...

I have a HU alledy... want to put in a pair of 3-way speakers...


At the same time I have a computer speaker Altec Lansing 4121... sounds nice to my ears... say if I want to buy these pair of 3-way speakers... can it at least match the sound quality of my AL VS4121?? Or maybe better... say if I put RM200 for the budget of these speakers...
