Today went for another round of testing! Brought my own CD which i was more familiar with. Here are my findings:

Focal Access 165A1 : Reasonable amount of midbass, vocals are slightly muffled or veiled in comparison with SL60. Tweeters are slightly noisy. Midbass is pretty solid/less muddy

Boston Acoustics SX60 : Sibilance is quite bad, vocals very very bright. Nice at first but can get fatigued fast. Bass is weak. The clarity is definately there, great for vocals if can lower the brightness or down the trebles, but unfortunately lack of bass puts me off.

Boston Acoustics SL60 : Again, very smooth and bass is pretty strong. Dont think its as strong as the 165A1, but the vocals sounds less bright, while maintaining its clarity. Mids are much fuller, and overall sounds much more nicer then the above two.

Dominations Dlite : Tested in car (above 3 speakers tested on speaker board) with Dynamat-ted doors. This set is running purely off Persona OEM HU, with no amp and no sub. Midbass is VERY STRONG. Unfortunately its quite muddy and not very precise, although the strength is there. Not sure is this due to the dynamats, or the HU being low quality. Sibilance is better than SX60 and 165A1, vocals is pretty clear, but imaging is horrible, also maybe due to the HU. Kinda hard to conclude this set.

As of now, i am STILL not decided between the 165A1, SL60 and Dlite. SX60 is totally out, while Dlite is so-so. Its more of between 165A1 vs SL60. Not sure whether the extra money is worth it sad.gif.

Meh ICE is sooo hard xD.
