actually this is their second run.the first winner is gasai yuuno,making there is two gasai yuno (on from the previous world and one more is dead which is one of the three corpse found in the room).

and why do we see a dead yukki in the first 10 seconds of the show? because he died trying to commit double suicide with yuno. then yuno becomes god, so she turns back time and literally creates a parallel 2nd world, and kills 2nd world yuno so she'll live on in the 2nd world and stalk yukki all over again.

Actually, if you re-read the manga, in one of the last chapters whn Akise went into Deus' lair, Deus explained a time leap is possible, but "by time leaping, one will end up creating 2 worlds. One where the existing god disappears and the world subsequently destroyed, and another world where god has time leaped to"
