Hi guys, i have this idea where instead of carrying my bulky catalogue out to do sales, i will convert all my catalogue to digital and put it in ipad.
My concern is are there any software in the ipad which allows me to design my catalogue and show them to my customers easily?
I'm selling construction machineries and i would like to put pictures and specifications of my products in ipad, and when my customer wants to see a video or something, i can just tap somewhere so that a video of that product can be play.
Is this capable on an Ipad? Please give me advice.

Getting Started

|
There're 2 ways. Before that, you need help from iOS developer to make it done. The app is design with xcode in objective-C.
1. Make it available to download in Apple App Store. Create a app, submit and wait for approval. (Every1 can read yr catalogue, including yr customers with ipad)
2. Create a app, just put it in yr personal Ipad.

U can also create a PowerPoint presentation n run it with docstogo or make a PDF copy that can be accessed with iBooks but it wouldn't be interactive as an app

yes thanks for the idea guys, going for ios developer is too extreme because i'm only running a small business.
Might go with the idea of making power point presentation and running it with docstogo. just need to make sure the compatibility.

besides using powerpoint, you can actually design page-by-page of your catalogue and upload it as a picture in a specific folder~ this i can assure you works flawlessly...

QUOTE(lil twist @ Apr 22 2011, 07:24 PM) besides using powerpoint, you can actually design page-by-page of your catalogue and upload it as a picture in a specific folder~ this i can assure you works flawlessly... bro this is even a better idea, so we can sort files in folders using ipad? never own an ipad before so i'm a noob. so i can create the catalogue in pdf file and separate them into folders right? Great idea.... Added on April 22, 2011, 7:57 pmand within a folder, can we scroll to diff pdf files seamlessly? cause i want to create a very fluid presentation. You can try to scan your catalogue to PDF format, save them onto a website so that your clients can download. When you need to, display them on iPad. I think it will look very good.
