I plan to buy AirAsia flight tickets from Hatyai to Bangkok tonight. The default currency stated in the website is in Thai Baht. Should I change the currency to MYR first before making payment to get a better rate? Or just stick to the original Thai Baht. Need some advice here.

Should not use CC at all since there's a processing fee involved

How much is the air fare in THB ? And how much is it in MYR ? There are a few times that i noticed Air Asia's exchange rate is cheaper.

I just checked AirAsia website. The currency will be charged according to the city of origin. So means cannot choose the currency lo.

I just checked again and nothing has changed since my last booking with Air Asia three months ago. It is still possible to choose to pay in MYR even though if your flight is originating from a non-MY airport to a MY airport.

Anyway, it is possible that you are not able to choose MYR as the billing currency because your flight is a Thai domestic flight.

Just wonder your statement in CIMB account showed the amount in Peso or MYR or both? The amount in ur statement is exactly the same as ur payment amount?
