QUOTE(terrysoh @ Sep 8 2015, 01:14 AM) I am holding Maybank2 Cards Premier and often buys stuff online overseas. So should I use Amex or Visa? Amex definitely charges higher on fees but it gives 5x points compared to Visa 2x. Which gaves the best bang for buck? But seeing the response here, i should consider getting a Public Bank Visa Infinite since it has low fees All oversea online transaction, VI also entitled 5X TP If the trader is at US, trade with USD......AMEX is the choice

QUOTE(jchong @ Sep 17 2015, 05:43 PM) For USD transactions, although both VI and Amex give 5x TP but I thought that Amex has higher transaction fee? If that's the case then using VI is better right? I have few USD transactions before (quite long time ago), AMEX seen to give better rate than VISA (even after 2.5% vs 1% administration fee). Or you can try both AMEX/Visa at same day, and compare later.
