Hi,

I'm traveling to Europe for few months soon, comparing Citibank and HSBC card, Citibank offer 1% and HSBC offer 1.25%, but Citibank mentioned they will covert the spending currency > USD > MYR, and HSBC dint. So if its EUR > USD > MYR converted, i will gonna pay more because its double conversion? Or using USD as medium was actually a standard for every bank?

citibank source: https://www.citibank.com.my/english/common/...rges-credit.htm
hsbc souce: https://www.hsbc.com.my/1/2/personal-bankin...rd-fees-charges

p/s Any1 knew any good card to be apply to be use oversea? I'm looking at this 2, which give 1% & 1.2% rebate, meaning if i use this two card oversea, the conversion charge is as good as nothing?

Which card(s) do you have currently? From my experience, Aeon CC gives quite good rate.
