Hi,
I'm traveling to Europe for few months soon, comparing Citibank and HSBC card, Citibank offer 1% and HSBC offer 1.25%, but Citibank mentioned they will covert the spending currency > USD > MYR, and HSBC dint. So if its EUR > USD > MYR converted, i will gonna pay more because its double conversion? Or using USD as medium was actually a standard for every bank?

p/s Any1 knew any good card to be apply to be use oversea? I'm looking at this 2, which give 1% & 1.2% rebate, meaning if i use this two card oversea, the conversion charge is as good as nothing?

Which card(s) do you have currently? From my experience, Aeon CC gives quite good rate.I'm traveling to Europe for few months soon, comparing Citibank and HSBC card, Citibank offer 1% and HSBC offer 1.25%, but Citibank mentioned they will covert the spending currency > USD > MYR, and HSBC dint.
