If u spend in foreign currency, the exchange rate is based on the post date conversion rate decided by Visa, so the diff is on the charges by bank, so far from all the members sharing, AEON rate are the best which is around 1%

Not during the transaction date/time? Is on posting date/time?

Hi guys.. I need urgent help here. I bought something online using PayPal with bank conversion rate. I bought at 375 usd but bank charges my debit card rm1.8k. How could this be when direct conversion is RM1675. That's about nearly rm125 more.

Paypal has charges nearly 4%.

You need to know the total USD fee charged to you?

or USD375 is the amount billed in your statement? You can see that figure. Then, use MYR converted to divide by USD. If it is, 4.8 is too high and you should question your card issuer.
