You need to check the median exchange rate and the amex rate for the posting date, and calculate the margin...

It's tough to answer your question. What I know is HSBC is the most expensive. Much expensive than M2C Amex, but nowadays Amex rate is quite high at 2.8-3%. CIMB & MBB Visa / Master used to have the best conversion rate but that's the past. My preference will be MBB and CIMB.

Do you realised that Master provide better rate than Visa?
I have this conclusion by comparing the rate advertise on Master and Visa page for the same date and for the same currency NZD.

And, below here is the rate for RHB Master Platinum card.
Transaction TypeRHB Master Platinum
Transaction Date31/08/2016
Posting Date02/09/2016
Transaction amountEUR 29.90
Amount chargedRM 138.92
bank rate4.646154
master rate4.599414
Difference1.02%

From RHB CS, the charging rate is following bank's advertised Foreign Exchange Rate on rhbgroup.com website.

so, is AEON credit card giving the best forex rate?

I went through a few recent pages on this thread. It seems like Aeon card still offers the best rate. Anyone went to Taiwan recently and can give a rough quote of the exchange rate for credit card? Thank you.
