i notice tat.. hardware improvement are 8mega pixels.. add on image stabilize, a better processor .. a higher ram , bigger storage

The storage is same as SGS (if you referring to 16GB SGS), in fact... SGS2 lost around 2GB storage compare with SGS. Dunno where it went 

rumor is that Tegra 3 is coming along with Nexus 3, which will most probably be the first phone that comes with Ice Cream

btw, from all the feedbacks in this thread, why does it not sound like the 9/10 phone that is being reviewed at Engadget?

yeah personally i also feel touchwiz is not bad at all... but htc sense offers more in terms of user experience.. the interface and interaction between user and the device is richer in sense.
however i do notice one thing i like in the SGS 2.. the message and email layout in landscape mode.. cool! 

hmm, 2 questions i have here cuz i'm thinking of buying SGS2 and that's gonna be my first android phone since i'm using symbian last time, pls answer it. really appreciate it much.

1) we root the phone in order to change the lockscreen and make the phone works better. so after we root the phone, can we update the phone like usual or we need to root it back again in order to update the phone?

2)what apps do we need to install in order for us to have chinese language inside the phone which is without chinese language at the first place?

Well iirc, piracy talk is frowned upon anyway, so nah, don't think I'm being harsh. Besides, to ensure a healthy developer environment, piracy has to be discouraged.

Haha, I buy CD's and then rip into lossless formats. I'm not trying to take the moral high ground here. It's just that a lot of these developers are independents who pour a lot of their own money and hard work into developing these apps. A lot of them are only 1-5 dollars anyway, so why not show a bit of love? 

And the tone from before is because I'm under the impression that piracy talk is not allowed. If I'm wrong, then I stand corrected.
Anyway off topic, back to more SGS 2 goodness! 

Try finding the app called tune in radio, its free in the market, plus its got an extensive list of radio stations around the world, I use that app to listen to power 98.

Anyway, im still giving the swtpe keyboard.a go before I totally declare it not suitable formy daily uaage.

I also have to add.the frustration of typing on lowyat forum, the screen keeps jumping,.i wished.samsung had some curser to edit words with pin point precision...
When in landscape mode, its useless, I cant see what im typing.. The screen jumps too frequent in lowyat..

I have 1 question for the SGS2, does it able to output to a HDMI connector? Something like the SE ARC.
