hmm, uk sets, i know alfred dont mind the warranty, but the shipping costs, how much would it be??

the shipping costs should be cheaper compared to those who imported the xoom and atrix rite??

I also doubt maxis will launch early next month.. sgs last time maxis also inform earlier and make some ppl q up to get it too when they start selling..dun think sgs2 will be so quiet.. they sure will create some noise among the customer then attract them to buy it.. 

then if msia officially sell it one month later, mean july only we can see it hopefully by june.. really wait till fire also gone.. 

after we use galaxy S2 for certain months... I phone 5 will be launch...

expansys singapore changed their eta statement from unknown to 10th may.

so we can expect around 20th may for malaysia to be filled with ap sets.

No need to worry buying phones from Spore and bringing in to Msia. I do it many times ( at least 20 times already for past 3 years ) - the customs never bother about this. If it is just one set - it is never any issue; when ask show receipt and say is personal use. You can even proudly show it. Once I brought in 3 sets ( the other 2 for my friends ) - open the car boot declared to customs - he just wave me through.

The higher risk in being holdup by customs/and   tax is when send  in by courier

they can settle it for you if your phone is held up by customs, but they have runners to do it for you. You need to pay them RM300 to settle the sirim for you. It's worth it cause you don't have to run here and there to settle it yourself.

If your phone is heldup at customs - you need to go to Shah Alam to apply Sirim permit around RM 250 and be prepare to pay at least 10% duty on invoice value. And count in the costs of you going to Shah Alam and than to present your docs to DHL etc to clear out . Than only DHL can sent out to you. Simply  - you pay all the extra charges first before taking delivery.  DHL can handle for you - but you will be charge for additional services and is not cheap ; someone quoted earlier RM 300 !!
