Hi guys. This is a 4 by 20 character LCD USB display.
 
You can display a lot of cool stuff

my own settings : Simple Plug and Play into USB !! Desktops and Laptops can run it too !!!
Date + Time, new Email alert,
CPU stats, processor speed, core temperature, fan speed, hard disk space, memory utilization, Network stats
CoreTempBeta, Speedfan, Winamp, Windows Media Player, Nvidia and ATi card temperatures, BBC newsfeed
can plug into desktops as well as laptops
It is easy to use, Just plug it into USB port, install the driver through hardware installation, Open LCDSmartie and you're good to go !
Supports : 1. Winamp 2. Windows Media Player 3. Speedfan (most recommended for displaying stats) 4. AtiTool (display Ati card temperatures) + NVIDIA card stats 5. Itunes

naiseeeee... i have a stalled project to mount lcd on my case. how did you get coretemp to work with lcdsmartie?

I still using parallel connection which easy to understood.
The LCD can be bought in Lelong. Just unsure stock and availability.

the USB microcontroller what brand and type?
Any details? can adjust contrast etc?
