from the previews i get the feeling the game will be more about investigating crimes than shooting dudes in the face.

if you want more over-the-top action i think have to wait for Saints Row 3 (according to the developer SR3 is more about punching dudes in the crotch, for every melee/range weapon they have different crotch punching animation - taken from GameInformer)

and oya in case you didn't know Activision cancelled True Crime Hong Kong.

i think you will perform worse if you binge play the game.
if you take your time during interview eg:

Press Y to lie and see the Phelps and the interview response, and back out with B before decide going for Truth or Doubt, you can ace all the interview.

Later stage is harder because you are facing mobsters and people with extreme sepet mata, hard to tell when they are lying lol

i was binge playing the entire homicide section, ending up getting 2-3 star for all the case.

after farming the 40 street crimes and 50 film reels my slim xbox just got the error E79 ...

nope haven't finish that yet. couldn't do it if i want to

tbh you should do the crime/badge/landmark/cars/film reels seperately so can get a combine driving mileage of 197miles.
