normally will use 9mm, most contractor will gv rm2.7 per sf.
some will use 8mm with rm2.5 per sf.

Call Mr. Phang at 0192722023. He just did plaster ceiling for my new 3 storey house. Good quality and good price. Most importantly, his attitude is superb. He speaks cantonese. Just tell him reference is from Mr. Kho.

2.20 for flat ceiling, to ground floor & 1st floor....
18"x18" access opening is install below toilet's floor trap, so that u no need to pecah the ceiling in case any leaking/ blockage of the sanitary piping.

According Mr Yee, flat board is RM2.50 fs (He may quoted you cheaper if yours is landed property. he charged higher for condo due on moving material to your unit.)
Cove L-Box is RM13 fr
Normal L-Box is RM10 fr

This is his work : http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1761806
