For those asking which is best browser, it is up to your own taste and requirements. Different people have different expectations from a browser, and is not on speed alone. Eg user kmrdeva stands by his opera which I rank at near bottom - but if he is happy with it and meets all his expectations - it is his best browser and we should respect his decison.
All browsers are free, just download and test yourself and decide which is your best
My best browser is still dolphin HD, follow by xcope, miren, default, opera, skyfire and worst I feel is firefox

Yes bro, to each his own. Web browser preference even on computers is a highly subjective matter. I am a big Chrome fan (on both Linux and Windows) and totally despise Opera on the PC, almost as much as I hate IE9 and Safari. Firefox4 is nice, but not nice enough to nudge me off Chrome11.

Back to mobile web browser. My preference in descending order is Opera Mobile, Dolphin Mini, Miren, Stock, Dolphin HD, Opera Mini, Skyfire, Firefox. Looks like we agree that Firefox is still crap on Android smile.gif

Ha ha, Firefox is seriously at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to Android web browsers. Hmm, maybe it's a bit lower than the bottom tongue.gif

I always say forget about KIES - is is just a bloated underperforming, unreliable  and practically s&^t software. It is the worst sync software I have ever used compared to symbian, windows mobile, iOS
Unless you want to use the KIES features to sync your phone - it is not necessary
Download and install KIES just for its USB drivers.  Your PC will recognize your phone and you can than use Odin, Heimdall etc to manually push files over, flash roms , flash kernels etc. You don't need KIES and to say you need KIES to update your firmware - I'd also say forget about it - you will " die" waiting for a successful update. Most users will agree that using KIES to update firmware is a pain in the ass , the success rate is low. It is quicker , easier to flash the firmware yourself using Odin
Also note updating firmware through KIES is country dependent - if there is no update released to the country your Tab originates, you will see no update. Especially with those AP sets from Europe, UK, Middle east abundant here - you can never update your firmware thro KIES even if there is a updated release

Is KIES successfully installed ? If so, than is your PC related issues which seems to be incompatible/or conflict with KIES. There are many complains from users about this issue and you now only have one choice left. Install the Android USB drivers . Download Android SDK from http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
Run the exe file - after successful extraction, run SDK manager - select the Android versions - at last select all ver 2.0 and above. Please read the instructions shown when running this - it is not that user friendly
Restart computer and your Tab should be able to be detected by PC and you can use SuperOneclick

Hi,

I got my Tabby for 3 weeks now. Flashed it to Overcome and loving it ever since. Problem is, as mentioned by a few people here, I can't seem to access the paid apps in Market. This is odd as my unrooted HTC Legend is able to recognise them without fiddling with the options. I tried clearing the cache but still the problem persists.

Other than that, I am supremely happy with the Tab rclxm9.gif

i installed Nova and Sandstorm games recently. After downloading the installation files. There are problems with the graphic when i run these games. Nova just come out with a smaller white screen. And, Sandstorm i can only see the terrain, all the characters, head's up display (HUD) are all white blank spaces. is it the applications, settings or anything wrong?
thanks

Doesn't fully cover the sides, but sexy design and look, I agree. My friend just bought a used Tab 3G that was protected by a book-type leather case for 5 months, sides were not fully covered and there were some line scratches here and there. Also, the white back had blackish stains, probably from the case.

I am using a condom-like case, a semi-hard rubber/plastic thingy covering the back and the sides of my Tab. Only the screen is left unprotected.

Yeah, I would also like to see a picture of the carbon fiber back and sides. I'm considering getting it too...

Samsung Gingerbread Kernel source released! Hopefully we'll see some OC/UV on the tab soon... rclxms.gif
