just bought my Tab P1000 SME set last evening. please count me in to the list ya. Playing with my Tab until late 4:00am last nite.. haha.. so sleepy this morning. :-)
Just curious, can i root my Tab using Ubuntu 11.04 OS? I'm not using Windows OS for the past 2 years. :-)

cannot... because the one who develop the rooting software also complie a window version. I havent see any rooting software for linux or mac...

Assuming you're running a compatible ROM version, maybe cf-root kernel can be installed via Heimdall utility in Linux? I run Linux at home too (2 computers with Mint 10 x64) but I always flash/update my phone and tab with my work laptop (Win7).

BTW, Benny bro, I think I still need MarketAccess.

After numerous wipes of Market data and cache, I still intermittently get issues like updates to my paid apps not appearing, e.g. latest incident being latest update to Voodoo Control Plus not appearing under 'My Apps' unless I run MarketAccess to emulate US SIM and then relaunching Market app to check.

As always, I will restore back to 50216 (digi) after I am done with the Market app. No big issue, quite used to running MarketAccess already by now.

I think u better go xda forum n ask. . . Is too dangeros to ask here, most user here can tell u their own but not telling u why. . .

I bought at Lowyat for RM 65. Its plastic back with rough surface is great.

I have the same issue.

HI,anyone using tab version t-mobile us?cause i read from gsm arena.the total ram would be difference 640 mb ram compare to p1000 which is only 512mb.can someone confirm this?
