If you have enough after feeding and storing for the second, then yeah sure, give it to the 1st daughter, no matter what her age, breast milk is good... even the dad can use good old breast milk... Me? The milk not so much, I prefer the packaging sweat.gif

My son...get sick less and if he does get sick..he recovers quite fast. Usualy if he is sick, I notice that he will drink more breast milk thus leading to faster recovery..which i think shows that BM has antibodies to help him recover fast.

It's quite stressful when demand is more than supply..and so far..during the first 6 months where i was exclusively breastfeeding, my supply is ngam ngam. After when my son started solids, it was not so stressful but i still continue to pump (I'm a working mom) in the office to maintain my supply for him when i'm away at work.

To increase supply or at least make sure there's sufficient milk (during the first six months), I boil 1 tsp of fennel seeds or fenugreek seeks and drink the water. I do this twice daily - in the morning and evening.

If your supply is more..just keep it in the freezer..in case during the time when your baby have growth spurts...you have extra on hand.

I would say to wait until after a week or so - let the new baby get all the colostrum since the amount is so little anyway.

Then after that you can tandem feed both your children.

Happy breastfeeding! biggrin.gif
