I would suggest that if you are really interested in a distance learning (correspondence) degree which is recognised internationally and updated regularly, try the London external degree programmes. Probably more expensive and more strenuous then the OUM or Wawasan Open University.

However, the University of London degrees have an impecable pedigree, over 100 years old, and is recognised internationally and also by many international professional bodies. Our local open universities are just getting local recognition and I doubt their degrees are recognised internationally, let alone by international professional bodies.
