Well, there is something I forgot to mention about the cooler pad : it elevates the notebook, so the vents underneath can blow out the hot air more efficiently and the screen is elevated helping you to reduce neck strain.

AND it cools the laptop efficiently...AND you don't have a huge ugly aircon sticking out of the notebook.

Wow, it seems like we have a lot of discussion regarding cooler in this thread. smile.gif
Well, IMHO, coolers did help in reducing laptop temperature, especially the ones with aluminium material, due to the
fact that the aluminium acts as a good conductor in dissipating the heat from the laptop.

The proof is, even though I didnt turn on my laptop cooler (CM Infinite), my idle temperature still drop from 45C to 41C, when I turn it on, it goes down to 39C.
Well, every cooler will have different efficiency depending on the location of your laptop vents and how the cooler works, but still, it helps. nod.gif

Regarding the magic cooler, I am so sure about that, it looks kinda suspicious, but if someone has reported that it works, so why not? biggrin.gif

Underneath coolers will always help, even for a bit.... Because it lifts up your laptop and lets it have a better ventilation...

Look at point 9. They did compare between NC2000 and NC3000... and the cooling efficiency varies from one laptop to another.. unless there's a very well designed experiement involving a lot of laptops using the same coolers, we just can't really say which 1 is better... that's why recommending a cooler pad is not easy sad.gif

it all depends on the design of the laptop really. if there's more vents underneath then coolers will work better.

Cooler Master Notepal U2, price at around RM60 as well  nod.gif
With this you cool a larger area of the laptop, not just around the side vents  nod.gif

Thanks for info. I didn't notice the one i am using is Cooler Master Notepal U2. I bought this last year with RM 80 with 2 adjustable fans. After i saw the website, just realised my laptop can place under the notepal. haha

Is notepal U2 a good cooler? And does it suit for the laptop with 15"6 inches?
