Even O'Shea is a more productive CM/DM than that Gibson. And that's saying something!

Gibson and Nani not that bad today. Just the final pass lacking.

Moyes brought out his guns. If we don't be cautious and take our chances well, we might be crying by the end of 90 minutes plus added time.

Nice substitutions.

1. O'Shea was good defensively but going forward, he was either not confident enough to go near the line and cross, or a bit slow to be of any use up front.

2. Nani, the usual I guess. Plus his crosses were below par.

3. Gibson, like I mentioned earlier, was MIA for plenty of the minutes he was on the field.

4. Evra brought with him what O'Shea didn't - speed and crosses/passes into the middle of the opposition penalty box.

5. Owen. It didn't work instantly to be honest but he got better as more minutes passed since his introduction. Perhaps it was also due to the fact that only one central midfielder was proactive and making forward passes.

6. Giggs' introduction meant business was fully up and running in the middle of the park.

As for the goal, to be honest I wasn't sure whether the ball went in or it was brushing against the side wrong side of the net as it was an impossible angle. Needed the players' reaction to confirm it was a goal. Nice one, Chicharito smile.gif

We needed this win after what happened during midweek and after looking at our next four fixtures. Time to give it all we've got from here on out.
