more good can be transport from island to mainland...
near to airport right??

less KM to go pinang if build in batu kawan..

to develop batu maung/south pinang probably...

Southern part of Penang state to be developed, hopefully the spillover impact can be felt in Perak as well.

Penang's second bridge estimated at a whooping RM2.8 billion, measuring 37 km will connect Batu Kawan in Seberang Prai to Batu Muang on the main island. It would be a folly for me to see the needs for more roads and bridges to add to the congestion (be it in the island or mainland)...It's never ending story.

Come on, the bottle necking effect can be seen in Kuala Lumpur. Works been done to widen the roads, fly-overs zig-zagging here and there but in the end, the receiving end will be the same. Different routes but destination remains. When will this end?

It's scheduled for completion in 2011, however, when 2012, everything will be destroyed.

Not pratical,,, penang bridge only charge one way which is from mainland to island...

If that is the case, u need to charge at both way....

Else which bridge company wanted to be the one which allow traffic out?
