Been there once during Chinese New Year. Not so impressive but it is hard for them to compete because the rental in this mall is quite steep. That I think is a bit set back for retailers to try to go in. Also, very little known of this mall. No cinemas also I belief

QUOTE(shyhhua @ Apr 19 2011, 04:21 PM) no anchor tenant like a supermarket or cinema. i think the mall management should go and find some tenant that can "suck" visitors, i.e: karaoke, supermarket, department store.... currently i dun really interested to go there because it is so "dry" inside Yeah I agree. If got Songbird karaoke, I will definitely step in cause SS2 very hard to get parking

QUOTE(lowyat888 @ Apr 19 2011, 04:36 PM) the food outlet like old town coffee like want to close shop, no people as well as other food outlet. one word expensive. nothing inside the mall, majority vacant. have to sell at a high price in-order to cover rental & other hidden cost. nobody dares to open business there maybe rental is steep. even at the moment no competition also dont dare to open maybe should need at least a big hypermarket eg tesco, jusco, carefour to boost it else will be pubs or cinema (that wont be for sure bcos the mall close at 10pm daily) very bad. indeed. just imagine like empty mall at all floors Their 2nd floor rental rm 15.00 + service charge. Who dare to go in at this slow retail economic now? Yeah I do agree with you. Maybe they need newer ideas and new management team

QUOTE(gengar77 @ Apr 29 2011, 12:00 PM) actually they're going ahead with the atria redevelopment plan as the tenants there have been given 3 months notice to move out......so by end of july atria will be empty. im one of those affected tenants Yes that's true. Was in Atria last Sunday to buy some school uniform on the 2nd floor. The lady told me also and inform me to go to their new stall just adjacent to the complex. Hopefully a new nice mall will emerged. To tell you the truth, I only go to Atria to eat KFC once a blue moon and to get uniform. Sometimes may buy from Bata there as well. Besides that, the mall sucks. The lady that does clothes alteration on the 3rd floor very Lcly....lol but true
