That brings to my thought of Avenue K fails, despite so near to KLCC, with LRT somemore...with Fitnesss First somemore....with Food Court somemore...
by the main road somemore....

My personal view is that Avenue K has been overshadowed by KLCC.

When there is two beautiful girls together, people will put their attention on the more beautiful one. Unless the less beautiful one has got some special identity that make her outstanding and easy for people to remember.

In the case of Avenue-K. For me, the design looks like it is an extended arm of KLCC or complimenting KLCC.

For Avenue-K to stand out, it has to either offer a different thing than KLCC or it has to be better in certain aspect when comparing to KLCC. Otherwise it is difficult to attract people to Avenue-K when there is already KLCC.

Small mall in Malaysia is not popular, should learn more from our neighbor Singapore, all the malls big or small there are crowded because most of the time it is located on top of MRT station. Malaysia only have one mall directly on top of LRT Station, Avenue K is not doing well either. Poor planning ?

Although the mother company is Prudential Financial Inc of the United States.

Pramerica Real Estate Investors (Asia) Pte Ltd. seems to be run by Singaporean.

In other words, it's the product of Singaporean.
