QUOTE(zumapuma @ Apr 20 2011, 05:22 PM) oooh look what i found from XDA i always kill 'software update' app when the phone start, as per advice by one of us here. can't recall who. sorry mate."The fix has been working on JVK and JVB ROMs, check other threads about this issue. You can delete the data of the Software Update application, but it will be regenerated after a reboot. If you want to get rid of this, just root the phone and delete the following APKs syncmldm.apk syncmlds.apk wssyncmlnps.apk Just look at this: After 17 hours with light usage, still 68% battery." anybody tried this before? since you have point out the guide to stop the app, i'll try it. thanks. |

QUOTE(kfc @ Apr 25 2011, 12:43 PM) I'm trying to follow this instruction. not necessarily delete. can rename (add .bak, or change the extension) or use titanium to freeze the app.deleted the mentioned files above from /system with root explorer. let see if this fix the battery drain. thanks for the info. |

aahhh, using juwe's since his v1.9. if you like black & white, you'll probably love the theme. battery friendly on my ebay-made-in-china battery after some tweaking. excellent on performance but minor bugs on framework. v4.2 will be released soon.

ok one quick question, papago or aura? both are NOT free.
file size comparison: aura: apk + map 30-40Mb papago: installation files + map 600Mb+ aura POI not bad (at least for klang valley). smart interface. lane assist. turn-by-turn navi with cool voice (seriously macho abis suara abg tu) papago users, how is papago better than aura? |
