Hee. MY sister will be getting the Galaxy S too, poisoned after trying out my phone lol laugh.gif It's pretty much complete, and to me will last quite a while unless there's revolutionary (i.e : an iron together inside a phone) or something along those lines, then I'll get myself a new phone LOL.

I think with the kernels and 2.2.1 updates, Gingerbread isn't a must have, though the prospect of it being in our phones is great. It's not like the Galaxy S isn't working at all, heck, I'm on 2.2 with speedmod k13b and it works fine. smile.gif

The gingerbread is already quite snappy, I too already have completed flashing to XXJVB. Is the JFS lagfix needed?

Hmm. Fugumod or the Speedmod. BTW are you guys all on data plans?

Maxis likes to bill me wrongly, and also bars my line without any reason(My credit limit wasnt even touched)
..had an outstanding of RM300 when actually my bill for the month was only 150.

EDIT: Guys,a quick one. If I'm on JVB and have speedmod K15a, and would like to install the Fugu Kernel, is there anything that I'd have to do beforehand? OR can I just flash the Fugumod?

Went from Speedmod to Fugu, both perform fairly the same(to me atleast) but Fugu doesnt seem to have the Sharpness fix sad.gif The fonts dont look all that nice.

BTW guys, why do I feel the 2.2 froyo I had is waaaay faster than JVB? Or smoother, I'd say. Before this on Froyo I had Speedmod k13b, fugutweaks, thats about it; Gingerbread I'm using Fugu/Speedmod, and LauncherPro doesnt seem to flow nicely when you open the applications menu. The "framerate" seems lower.

Current GB just don't impress me, except for the smoothness... Still got a lot more to polish compare to 2.2.1 roms... Using JVB currently... struggling to change back to 2.2.1 or not...

Tell me about it. I was on GB for a bit, wasn't too impressed, and the settings button is quite annoying! >_> I'm back on froyo 2.2, revert everything back laugh.gif

Install the Speedmod, convert files to ext4 smile.gif That'll solve most of your problems smile.gif
