My friend recently got this phone (he is new to android), has not rooted, updated to froyo but not 2.2.1..... He is facing lag issues....... I gotta say it sucks when this gorgeous thing starts to LAG LAG LAG......
(I cleared the cache from the 3 button recovery menu thing)
it helped but still lags.... T.T
He told me Kies only offered him 2.2 but not 2.2.1... Is this even possible? Does 2.2.1 for SGS solves the LAG FOR Really F***ing Slow (RFS) File System? I feel sad for him with this phone now....... cos it lags like mad.... I have Galacy Ace, it does lag when u max out internal memory, but not like the SGS....

He tends to install stuff into the internal memory... should i stop him from doing that?

EDIT: I see leaked gingerbread build (samsung official ROM) and Samsung made announcement of Ginger bread for SGS like supposed to release about now??? right?

If so, then when u guys think official Gigngerbread will come out for SGS? (Not custom rom)
