Hi all, I just bought samsung galaxy s. How to change from froyo 2.2 to gingerbread. I try to search on the net but dont know how to do it.

odd. Have you tried pulling out the battery and reinsert it? Then boot up your phone and see if the problem persists.

do we need to copy efs file before flash to miui and restore it back again?

Which rom are you on?

you're staying in singapore? what happen to ur phone?

surely still can claim somehow. firmware tu is not a big deal lah, as long as you dont do any hardware fix then you're still eligible.

have you tried flashing to other Rom? who knows it might solve the home button problem

well maybe if u already buka2 the parts, or do the hardware gps fix ( bending the antenna),probably your warranty cannot be use already. or if you accidently broke the phone through accident or normal events like spilling the water over it ka, warranty no more. but if u just use your phone like that suddenly got problem, its their fault so have to repair/replace your phone with new one.

ap phone? if ap phone then just forget about it. this is one of the most common excuses they give.
