QUOTE(gmhafiz @ Apr 29 2011, 07:19 PM) Owh is it? I only download books from aldiko & laputa only. Android Market is unfiltered. Imagine stuff people put in it, such as hot, sexy japanese girls wallpapers, and there are PLENTY of them!Even so, there's many other ways how number of apps in ios is inflated. Not just books. A lot of useless stuff deemed as apps, such as these wallpapers. At least animated wallpaper I would still accept, cause it contains coding. You know the deal. |

QUOTE(ken2291 @ Apr 30 2011, 12:18 AM) Man, I hate those hot sexy apps!! It ruins the quality of Android Market. Market lacks of quality!! This is what it needs. if proper control is there, Android will get better QUOTE(silentser @ Apr 30 2011, 01:02 AM) Twisties. |

QUOTE(silentser @ Apr 30 2011, 01:44 AM) apps is a subset of things (arrghh got math exam tommorow Well, you explained it. App is indeed subset of Thing.definition of subset = all x element of app, x is also element of things hak hak hak Meaning that, when he said "Apps", it doesn't mean all thing, but if he said "Things", it means to include "apps", "videos", "audios" and etc etc. So I am sure he still likes the rest, except those sexy apps on Android Market. |

QUOTE(nasrulbond @ Apr 30 2011, 03:49 AM) one thing i'll never understand about samsung @ google @ android itself, why the Nexus S already got the 2.3.4 upcoming OTA updates while galaxy s still stuck with buggy GB? shouldn't they be realizing the facts that Galaxy S is much top-seller than Nexus S? haiyaa That's cause the Nexus S is called "Google Nexus S", not "Samsung Nexus S".So, if want the latest firmware, always go with Google phones. I think Nexus One is even faster than Nexus S. ROMs released by community la. |

Tested Gtalk A/V. Sweet, only that, if your phone has A/V enabled, others can't call you. Only can make outgoing A/V calls from phone.

QUOTE(kmrdeva @ May 11 2011, 02:08 AM) CM7 is as plain android as I can see. Seems stable enough. Using it now. What do you mean Nexus S experience? Sorry, have never played with or owned a Nexus S. Nexus S, being a Google phone, so I believe the ROM is as close to AOSP, if it is not one.The smoothness on the phone was really unparalleled. Even I have just flashed to GB on my phone, it was not as smooth compared to Nexus S. BTW, video recording working fine? Google search gave me this one, not sure if it is the latest version: http://www.theandroidsoul.com/cyanogenmod-...msung-galaxy-s/ |

QUOTE(gmhafiz @ May 11 2011, 02:20 AM) that website is not updated to the latest one. refer http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/17020-a...s-experimental/ Thanks! Will try it out. make sure 3 button combo is working and you are on froyo. no need to disable lagfix as cm7 will rewrite the whole thing (except int sdcard of course). It uses yaffs and ext4 as the filesystem. no more rfs. |
