im stock JVS8 and on latest E speedmod kernel and i cannot use z4root. is there any idea that i might get my sgs rooted? i never felt like this before

i see. because on9 kitchen can do such thing. i thought i might do that manually, its ok then. but will it affect on my network coverage, i mean will i be able to get as good reception as if i was using the ROM for asia? and for the modem, what makes modem differs from each other?

no superuser on your list of applications?

if you got already superuser in the list, then it's rooted already. why dont u test it with market enabler from the market? if you click on it and still got no superuser prompt to allow it, then you are still not rooted. report back again.

@ken2291, i just installed guerrilla bob, pes2011 and reckless racing but didnt hv time to play it yet. Will let u know asap

@phyz. I flash JVH base, then flash CF-Root without tick autoreboot, then reboot to CWM and flash Tweaky Rom. It didnt come with Superuser app but i can use RootExplorer, ShootMe, MarketEnabler and other apps which required root access.
