lenewin: is that 06 Impreza from AA? Must've cost you quite some money! V9 is the only Impreza that I like.
Very nice bro!

cheesenium: but i think they're quite overpriced la. IMO. Tho they're my favourite seller as well when I was there. Another one that I like is Biante because they sometimes would have 50% or 70% clearance sale.

QUOTE(Cheesenium @ May 11 2011, 11:00 PM) I usually buy from Biante, Bongos and Motorfocus. But you can also PJ Modelcars. They stock quite alot of those high end models as well like MR and BBR.lenewin: woish! Nice! Sadly, I had mine on pre-order from HK since mid of Feb...but since no news up till now, I just decided to get from Loada...so now waiting for his stock to arrive. Congrats bro! |

I've seen the NSX and it's not too bad. Tho I've not seen the LFA...so can't compare...but I think both SHOULD NOT be Signature line. Should just be same standard as the Reventon.
lenewin: I got the matt black and white. |

lkwanz: yea perhaps but I suppose even the Reventon don't deserve the Signature line. Lol. Regarding the LFA, not really cannot decide la. I'm always going for the White. Thats for sure but I see the matt black looks good as well. So decided to get both. I wish la, in the very distant future, that I'll be able to add the yellow and red as well. Lol.

cheesenium: I like the Camaro. Looks awesome!
Just got my two LFA yday. ![]() ![]() I gotta say I'm kinda dissapointed with the model. And for me, the spoiler is so ridiculously fragile. The first time I put up the spoiler for my Matt Black, it just stays up. I can't push it back down. But then, this is probably my most anticipated model for this year, so ofcourse I'm happy with it...Lol. The best part of this model, for me, is the wheels. The details on the wheels is just amazing. ![]() ![]() And some White VS Black session ![]() ![]() ![]() |

derrick: um...no. Lol. Probably RM100 overpriced. Around Reventon standard would be great. |

aha! Marcus is the first person I heard saying that he'll rather have red than the white or black!!
leroy: really? including the red lfa? Coz I think he brought in the red one as well. I actually don't mind the rear plastic "mesh" because I truly believe that it would be really impossible for them to create the proper curve if it was real mesh. |

marcus: gun metal...black...same la. Lol
lkwanz: haha. no problem! lol. but personally...I prefer the white simply because of the interior. Without the red....the interior is a bit...bland. jasonist: yea. I dont really mind because I don't wanna pop the spoiler up again for my white one incase i break it. So i just leave the black one up and the white one down. Lol. Thanks bro! |

what model u wanted to buy? i think it would be easier(and probably cheaper) to get from asian retailer than Amercian retailer. |

Lol. Like lkwanz said, alot of us started with Maisto and eventho alot of us have AA, Kyosho, MR, BBR, CMC, Exoto etc...we still wouldn't mind buying maisto.
My first 1/18 diecast is the exact SLR that u have. |

It really depends on what ur modding. If you plan to just repaint the wheels then you just buy some spray paint and paint it but if ur planning to repaint the whole car then its different story. You need to have paint stripper, the sand it down, the wet sand, primer, base coat, top coat, clear coat, polish etc.
So there's alot to learn if you're planning go into modding. Expensive as well. Lol. |

lkwanz: haha. how i wish im expert. If i am...i would've mod myself an E90 M3 dee. Lol.
persona: if ur thinking of respraying the whole car, its better if u always try on a dummy model first. Learn how to apply even coats and also how long it takes to dry, sanding etc. In terms of price, probably can do it for that price but i'm not totally sure. perhaps some seasoned modders here can help. lol. |

persona: yea. not much video. and alot of the written tutorial or guide is not really "unified" coz different modders have different technique.
So that's why it's important for you to actually test it on a dummy to find your own technique and what works best. marcus: congrats bro on the BBR. which version you got? |
