My new arrivals.



Obviously, the Aventador is great but I'm really surprised by the Citroen GT(from wkwebsite) and 458 Italia(from hacken). The gunmetal wheels on the 458 really mask the "oversized" rim problem and the Citroen GT...wow. Incredible model for the price.

Yeap. that's alonso's 458.

i_berd: my first diecast is Maisto SLR...playerz edition. I kinda regret buying it not because its a bad model but because it's...too heavily modified. Lol. End up getting a normal SLR after that.

myke: The rainbow effect? Lol. Just low shutter speed and a handy mini lava lamp. haha.

I really like the red but also REALLY, REALLY hate the number plate in the middle. Lol. Anyone have any idea if the production version is still gonna be in the middle?

yea. I mean...my instinct tells me to get both. Lol. coz I really like both of them...but if the red one has the number plate on the side, I would be more than happy with the red only. decisions......

i_berd: don't be too hasty to judge maisto. You just need to know which model to looks for. Maisto models that are very, very good are the Gallardo Superleggera, Gallardo Spyder, Gallardo Coupe, SLR, Carrera GT. Models you should avoid....new Merc SL's, E-class and definitely E60 M5. Lol.

l_berd: haha. well thats the sad part about Malaysia. I've seen it before that parents just do nothing when kids open the box and play with it. Thats why, for me, finding a "perfect" Maisto is actually quite exciting. hahaha.

but ofcourse, the Super Trofeo is great as well if you decide to get it. Just thought you shouldn't give up hope on Maisto!! lol.

458!...tho if you're comparing the Verde Ithica and 458...then different story la. hehe

The good part about yellow is that it has a "matching" interior because the stripe is yellow.

I actually like grey and white. haha.

lkwanz: haha. yea. I dno why but I love grey cars. The white is nice because the stripe is subtle. but I agree tho that white is easier to maintain than say...black.

my shipment from germany...I bought last december...until now also havent arrive. I gave up hope on that model ever arriving...but u never know. Lol.

The thing is that, I'm not sure whats the tracking number or shipment number coz I bought from a member on DX. I chose the option without insurance and was taking a risk eventho the seller advice to get with insurance.

So yea. Luckily, the model wasn't that expensive. The seller also sold some models to a member in Aus using the same shipping option as me and the model arrived after 4 months. So...I'm still HOPING it will arrive...one day.

haha. yea asked him. Seller also kinda blur so he sent me the shipment receipt(??)...I think but there are so many numbers there I also not sure which one. Maybe I should go to the post office and ask. Lol. Can't be held by customs coz it's only RM250.

No tracking coz it's the cheapest option. I think maybe postage by bicycle or smtg. Lol.
