Anyone notice that The Godfather / The Godfather: Part II already available for pre-order at the price of only $18.99! at Amazon. 2 BDs for only $18.99 is considered very cheap. Good combination for someone dislike The Godfather: Part III.
Here is the photo for movies received today. Sorry for lousy handphone camera.
Human Planet and The Way Back.
Tomorrow will receive The World at War and Everlasting Moments (a.k.a. Maria Larssons eviga ögonblick) from Criterion Collection. Will post photo tomorrow's night.
Criterion Collection? As I know all Criterion Collection (single disc only movie) no longer came with slipcover now. It came with it own design white transparent case and insert with full cover art - and I no need the extra slipcover for such design . (I only need a slipcover as the stupid standard BD case is damn ugly due to the top blue color bar).
Last time when I brought The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, their also include slipcover. Seem like after that their stop giving slipcover.
Anyway, here is BDs I received today.

Some big Rumor Mill-related news this afternoon: Paramount, 20th Century Fox and director James Cameron are preparing a 4K-scanned, 3D theatrical release of Titanic, set to hit theatres next year on 4/6/2012, not coincidentally on the 100th anniversary of the actual Titanic's maiden voyage. So that's interesting, but it's not Rumor Mill-worthy - it's actually been officially announced by the studios. (Here's more on it from Deadline Hollywood.) MORE interesting from our standpoint, however, is that multiple industry sources have now checked in with us to say that a Blu-ray release of the film (2D for sure and maybe 3D too) will happen a week or two later. And that IS Rumor Mill-worthy, so salt accordingly. By this time next year, a Titanic Blu-ray may already be in your hands.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button need slipcover as it use standard ugly blue color case, I had email Criterion before why this title is different than others criterion collection, they reply this title is actually release by paramount, criterion just help on transfer, nothing had to do with them, that why they not even release a similar criterion case to replace on it.
Previously Criterion packaging is digipack with slipcover and due to a lot complaining as it not last longer or it get damaged during transportation, Criterion lastly decide using current design case (with full art print inside a clear white case without slipcover).
I am considering to pre-order upcoming Criterion Collection, Secret Sunshine. Seem like interesting and if I order, it will be my first Korean Blu-ray.
Last few days, I check it can't pre-order yet.. now can already!
------------- Wait accumulate few titles 1st, before place the order
Strange! If you want to find Limitless Blu-ray that can pre-order in Amazon, you can't find it but you can pre-order this BD through the link provided in www.blu-ray.com.
Another potential to be future Criterion Collection catalog movie is coming:
The Tree of Life
QUOTE
The impressionistic story of a Midwestern family in the 1950's following the life journey of the eldest son, Jack, through the innocence of childhood to his disillusioned adult years as he tries to reconcile a complicated relationship with his father. Jack finds himself a lost soul in the modern world, seeking answers to the origins and meaning of life while questioning the existence of faith.
QUOTE
The story centers around a family with three boys in the 1950s. The eldest son witnesses the loss of innocence.
Strange! Sucker Punch (Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy) will only release on June 28, why their can deliver to you on June 26. I know usually their will dispatch 1 or 2 days earlier than release date but stating in your cart that their will deliver 2 days earlier is strange. Mine is ship on June 28 together with The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy (Extended Edition + Digital Copy) [Blu-ray].
You are really lucky.
