Hi all,
my house (whole 1st floor and staircase) is furnished with laminated timber by the developer...so my question here is:
1. do i need termite treatment (drill type on ground floor) because of the laminated timber? 2. do i need any special termite treatment on the laminated timber? 3. will it be easier attack by white ants compare with other houses which is not furnished by type of timber/wood?
thank you for your opinion...
regards, wynners

laminated? not those parquet flooring? such as the advertised rubina type?
if it is, and the manufacturer state it is anti-termite
1. it is still advisable to provide anti-termite as it does not just attack the flooring. cabinets, walls, roofing, any timber item is subjected to attack. therefore prevention is better than repairing.
2. depends on the manufacturer
3. not really
hope it helps

I will suggest you check with the developer is that anti-termite type or not, before you spend $$$ on the area. But if you plan to do treament across the house, than just add on lol
