As usual end of April...

Thanks. Last year, there was a count down counter at e-filing page.

This year, I didn't see/find it on the page.

You should get a confirmation mailed to you when you first opened your tax profile at KWSP office. Else, a call to them will be good.

tax profile is opened by company or myself?

What if I declared the wrong amount of income tax? e.g less by a month? There will be penalty charges? Can I go to the LHDN office to pay for the balance?

For my case, my company took care everything for me during hiring; i.e. EPF, SOCSO and income tax.

Usually LHDN will snail mail you some letter notifying you that your account has been opened blah blah blah.

For my case, I received few snail mails from them:

1. Notification of account is opened.
2. Notification of transfer of branch from Penang to KL since my hometown is in KL.
3. Notification of e-filling and no printed BE form will be sent.

LHDN won't be sending any confirmation letter regarding your monthly PCB deduction. Usually, this is prepared by your company in annual basis together with your EA form.

While doing the e-BE form submission, can I go back and edit previous screen if I have not "Hantar & Tandatangan"?

Medical Practioners according to Public Rulling 2/2005 is defined as:-

3.9 “Medical practitioner” in relation to deductions on medical expenses for
parents, means a medical practitioner (doctor) registered with the Malaysian
Medical Council (MMC).

So it's not MMA...

It should have been calculated in your EA form. It should have been deducted properly or written "Tax exempted". Check your EA form, it'll tells (nearly) everything.

yes. As long as you still haven't "Sign and Send", it's okay to reedit.

I have 1 question. When I'm going to get my money back if I do e-filing? It's been 1 week now.

You have to wait till at least e-filing closed shop; i.e. end of April.

The Standard Operating Procedures should be 30 working days from the submission date, if you are lucky.

Hi guys,

Im a freelancer doing some consultancy works and creative design stuff. Going to complete the e-Daftar later on.

I notice in Employment (pekerjaan) drop down box there is few that relates to me; ahli perniagaan, pekerja sambilan. Which one is more appropriate for me as a freelancer?

Do i need to prepare some sort of P/L account statement to show my income and expenses running a freelancer?

thanks in advance.

Urgent inquiries here!!

Is the Housing Loan interest deduction applicable for the house which bought on 2006?

And, how can I check back my previous year income tax submission? I forgot which year I claimed for the personal computer.
