I'm currently settling myself up with everything i need to survive my pregnancy/early baby care, as i own a business and work all day, a lot of this includes hunting online for things i know i want as well as options for things i'm not sure about.

However, searching for products on Lowyat is pretty difficult as there is no dedicated forum for this category (i end up splitting my search between 'for the ladies' and 'home electronics&hardwares' which kicks up all sorts of random things that have nothing to do with pregnancy or babies).

Does anyone else think it would be useful to have a dedicated sub forum for selling parenting related stuffs, perhaps if enough people like the idea (it can also be used to trade things like was suggested in a thread here recently).

i've already asked to our dear mod here, Syd G, way before u ... she's handling this part of the forum herself... if there's someone else to offer as mod i think should b ok... it oso depends on the whole mod n lyn team too...

Pretty much a very good preposition for having a standalone thread for mother/baby products. I definitely agree if it's kept clean and tidy. However, the ultimatum is in our Moderator's hand to pitch this idea to the Administrators.

Oh. Then maybe we need to find a volunteer to be a second mod . Maybe our mod can list what you need to do and about how much time it takes up and see if anyone can take on the job. I think maybe i'm already full up with responsibility, don't want to take on the job and then let everyone down.

Really hope we can find someone to help out and that lyn team will let us have our own sales forum. Would make finding baby stuff (and selling it once we outgrow it... teehee) much much easier.
